16th annual 39th

This is the group from Friday night.  It was so nice everyone thought to wear a Hawaiian shirt!  Actually, I lent them all a shirt!  I have a pretty good collection, as that is what I wear to school everyday!

Saturday night, there were some more friends who stopped over, (actually, I so enjoyed the visit, I forgot to take out my camera, sorry, just this shot Grace took) here are Jeff and Teri Evenson as I prepared to find enough breath to blow out the candles.

My buddy Jack Kline came over, and we played a few.

Another highlight for me, was my new washtub bass.  I've always enjoyed playing it, usually I can get it pretty good.  I haven't had one in about 10 years.

We had it going pretty good, Sadie even seemed to like it.

At Easter, I was up in Dunseith with Dad, but the kids were together in Bismarck.  Here is Hannah with Gavin and Xavier.

Here grandson Gavin is "watching" grandson Xavier for a little while.  Long enough to take a picture, anyway.

Turning 55 means I am now a "senior citizen".  Who would have thought?  I am very grateful for every day.  "Every day is a gift, that's why they call it the present."
