Here is the solar panel just after unpacking. Notice the gizmos on the
floor. It comes with a battery monitor and solar cell monitor, and it
literally conditions the battery as it charges it. It uses a specific
harmonic frequency that breaks up the deposits on the surface of the plates that
shortens the battery's life.
The panel doesn't take up much space, and it seems to work very well. I
didn't run the generator before I left, and when I come back for the next
weekend, the batteries are maxed. I may have to buy a couple more to
handle running my refrigerator in the summer.
Here is my "new" tractor and harrow. I needed to harrow my breaking so
that my renter (Bob Bott) could hay the ground once the alfalfa comes back
(hopefully).
For an old hillbilly like myself, having a tractor like this to drive is
amazing!
Here is my "heavy harrow", 40 feet wide, and I discovered there are places in my
fields that are less than 40 feet wide. . .
This is my old tractor, with the old harrow in the background. It's still
in pretty good shape except for the clutch. It wouldn't handle the
breaking, so I bought the 2470 for less than the estimate for replacing the
clutch. So far, so good.
